Deployment,
Air Strike & Submarine Attack
L to R: Dave, Dave's son and Liongvei |
With the submarine attacks underway; Dave
managed to hit a non-penetration to CL Brooklyn while Liongvei inflicted a
penetration hit to CA Portland, causing temporary flooding.
Dave's USN Deployment |
With Dave calling in his air strikes, Loo was
able to knock off 9 dive bombers, still not enough to stop it from damaging CL
Honolulu, CL Savannah and CL Pheonix.
Liongvei's USN Deployment |
Dave's torpedo bombers sunk DD Buckley and
various hits (both penetration and non penetration) to CL Savannah, CL Pheonix,
CL Cincinnati and CL Omaha.
Turn 1
Ice lemon tea aka landmass |
USN fleet under Liongvei command advanced
while Dave's USN fleet slowly peeps forward.
Dave's warship slowly peeing out |
Subsequent flood control saw CL Savannah sunk
due to double severe listing.
Turn 2
Both fleet called in their 2nd submarine
attacks.
3 of Liongvei's submarines were intercepted
and what remain of it subsequently miss all their targets.
On the other hand, Dave's submarines were not
intercepted; sinking CL Cincinnati and dealt a non-penetration hit on CA
Wichita.
Turn 3
Overview |
Liongvei ordered his fleet to maintain their
position while Dave's fleet steadily head onwards.
Turn 4
Both fleets went head-on.
Only highlight of this turn witness DD
O'Brien being sunk by CA Wichita.
Turn 5
Finale |
CA Portland ended the misery of CL Honolulu
by sending it to the depth of the sea.
Elsewhere, Liongvei's USN fleet completely
wiped out Dave's fleet by destroying DD Anderson, DD Hughes and CA Portland.
Signifying the end of USN civil war.....
