An all German warfare set the tone for
today's battle; pure German warships vs German French hybrid.
The
game was played at my place.
"Kill the flagship" scenario was
chosen with Hyiktsay's German fleet as the attacker.

Hyiktsay launched his submarine attacks;
having 2 of it intercepted and what remains of it did not hit their
targets.

Castor's fleet deployed in deep formation and
advanced steadily behind landmass cover.
With a more spread out formation, Hyiktsay's
fleet remained fairly in position.
Shots traded but no significant damage and
casualty recorded.

As Castor's Kriegsmarine advanced, it
soon reaches Hyiktsay's heavy cruisers effective range; destroying TP Lephew1
and recording several other damages on Castor's fleet.

As the battle continues, Castor's fleet
continues to take on casualties with TP Daspoo 2 and 3 sinking to the
abyss.
It became apparent that the superior range of
German heavy cruisers may prove to be the pivotal point of this
engagement.

Despite having higher DPS, Castor's fleet,
proved to be insignificant as the warships were outside their effective range.

By now, both fleets had maneuvered their
warships covering both flanks. Heavy gun battle ensured.
The one sided affair of this engagement
continues with Castor's TP Daspoo1 lost to Hyiktsay's gun fire.

Having placed its destroyers closing onto
Castor's left flank, Z37 was eventually sunk from heavy gun fire.
Casualties from the other fleet include CL
Spielberg and TP Lephew2 in return.
Turn 6

As the battle ravages on, the right flank seen
the most of actions for this turn.
Casualties on Castor's fleet includes TP
Daspoo4 and TP Lephew 3
Hyiktsay casualties in return, suffered the loss
of Z34.
Subsequent torpedo phrase saw the destruction
of TP Daspoo5
Turn 7
At commencement of this turn, Hyiktsay called
in his 2nd submarine attacks and managed to hit both BBs.
Resulting strike saw BB Riana suffered rudder
damage while BB Ryan resulted in flooding.
Subsequent consecutive flooding control checks
saw BB Ryan sunk attributing to double severe listing.
Thus end all German warfare.
This
turn out to be Castor’s last game for this mini league mainly due to his day
job getting into gaming time.
